Travel the world without leaving home. The St. Elias Festival is packed with fun for the whole family.  Bring your friends, your extended family and enjoy an afternoon filled with new tastes and sounds of the Fertile Crescent, the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe.  

Children will delight in balloon sculptures, face painting, clowns and, most unique of all, the Middle Eastern tradition of henna.  

Adults will relish a small town like festival that brings the world to your doorstep. Tour the small, but beautiful St. Elias Church which houses the incredible icons painted (or as we say "written") by a parish member of Greek Heritage. Learn more about our ancient heritage with a short presentation by V.Rev. Dionysios Wilhelm, Pastor. Check the handout when you get your tickets for exact times. 

Entertainment is family oriented with the Maritza Band and Winona Folk Dancers, longtime favorites and with us again by popular demand.  Festival singers, and Syrian drumming will provide some great sounds. As you work up a thirst, enjoy a glass of wine provided by That Foreign Place gift shop located on Third Street in downtown La Crosse. 

Most of all enjoy yourself under a tent on church grounds, rain or shine!
