We now have a Little Free Pantry installed in front of the church. Please consider bringing items each week to keep it stocked. Anything non-perishable is fine. As we head into winter, we'll want to avoid glass items that can freeze and break. Over time, we'll see what is in most demand. You may wish to consider donating expensive items, such as diapers, thermal socks and canned protein, as these items can be hard to come by for some.
Here is more info from www.thelittlefreepantries.org:
Little Free Pantries are an easy way for neighbors to help neighbors who need food, hygiene or paper items. They are a 24/7, zero barrier access point to food. Little Free Pantries not only support neighbors who are facing food insecurity but also build micro-communities. They empower people to make immediate change toward their neighborhood.
Give what you can by placing food, hygiene or paper items inside the pantry. Your neighbors who need those items can freely take from the pantry, no questions asked.
In cold weather neither liquid foods in glass or cans are acceptable.
