Dear St. Elias parishioner,

You are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting of St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church

on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 12:00 Noon

via Zoom videoconferencing. 

Register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

In addition to updating the parish on news and highlights from the year, we will elect new council members, approve the budget and vote on a constitutional amendment to change the date of our annual parish meeting from January to October.

The current constitution reads:

"Session 1. Annual Meeting.

There shall be an Annual Meeting of the Voting Membership of this Parish held within the last full week in January of each year."

 We would like to change the constitution to read:

"Session 1. Annual Meeting

There shall be an Annual Meeting of the Voting Membership of this Parish held within the last full week of October of each year."

Two-thirds of the voting membership is needed to make this change, so please make every effort to attend. To vote, you must be at least 18 years old, a pledging member (or regular donor) and a participant in the sacramental life of the church (as best you can under the current circumstances). A quorum for the meeting is 30 percent of the voting membership.
